CYLINDER SLINGS
CYLINDER SLINGS - They are made out of 2” polyester webbing (Polyester webbing stretches less than nylon webbing). The Gas Cylinder Slings have a work load limit of 1,200 lbs. The base of the cylinder sets in a two-layer leather bottom, with four straps that run vertically, holding the cylinder upright. There are two additional support straps that run around the perimeter of the cylinder, the bottom strap being 9 inches above the base of the cylinder and the top strap being 38 1/2 inches from the base of the cylinder. Each of the two perimeter straps have a hook on one end and a D-Ring on the other for easy disconnection when removing the cylinder from the sling. There is an O-Ring at the top of the sling for easy hook-up, and it provides for less wear than hooking directly into a webbing loop. There is a 1”x10” webbing loop handle (on the vertical strap closest to the hooks on the perimeter straps) that is used for guiding the cylinder when being lifted and moved, which eliminates the chance of getting your hands wedged between cylinders.
